Health & Safety Officer

Site Inspections & Audits: Daily walkdowns of the Right-of-Way (RoW), monitoring excavations, lifting operations, and heavy machinery to prevent incidents.
Risk Management: Facilitating Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and enforcing the hierarchy of controls (elimination, substitution, engineering, administrative, PPE) for all field tasks
Incident Investigation: Leading root-cause analysis (RCA) for any near-misses, spills, or injuries, and tracking corrective action close-outs.
Environmental Compliance: Monitoring waste management, spill prevention, and environmental footprint tracking in alignment with international mandates

Industry Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant HSE experience, specifically within Water & Waste Water EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; however, professional proficiency in Portuguese is highly desired by Angolan regulators and local
Education & Certifications: A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering. Mandatory international certifications include NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or OSHA
